Weekly Story Ideas/Prompts — 7 April 2021

In a previous post, I mentioned I was going to have a weekly set of story ideas or prompts to help others (and train my own idea-generation muscle). This is the first of this series.

1. You buy a new drink flavour, and it lets you see previously invisible beings
2. Someone enters a store, finds they are in an alternate reality
3. A man is pushing a child on a swing. He is not the father.
4. A car drives down a road at exactly the same time every night. It has no driver.
5. A promising startup just reached 1 billion app installs. Now nobody can stop them.
